Anuva got her first full-time job as a content creator with AglaSem for seven months. However, she wanted to pursue marketing so she shifted to HustlePost Academy as a Marketing Manager freelancer. Now Along with Tiggle, Anuva also manages her YouTube Channel. She shares her views and opinions about the topics she is interested in.

Anuva’s journey to Tiggle started at the age of 21 when she went to a popular metro station to test her hot chocolate as a product. She was nervous but got her hot chocolate sold completely. Tiggle got incorporated in 2021. Anuva tested cocoa from 50+ South Indian cocoa farms and prepared her best-tasting hot chocolate, iced chocolate, and many other products vegan and dairy-friendly.

Tiggle had a customer base of 37,000 coming majorly from their official website and Amazon. Starting in 2020, Tiggle has the following revenue in FY 2023-24:

April 2023: Rs. 5.9 Lakhs
May 2023: Rs. 6.5 Lakhs
June 2023: Rs. 8.9 Lakhs
July 2023: Rs. 11 lakhs
August 2023: Rs. 12.6 Lakhs
September 2023: Rs. 12 Lakhs

The company has been running with 65% of the gross profit and is completely bootstrapped and profitable.

Anuva Kakkar Tiggle Founder Shark Tank Story:

Anuva presented her business pitch on Shark Tank Season 3 with an ask for Rs. 50 Lakhs for 5% equity. She got her first offer from Shark Amit Jain for Rs. 20 Lakhs for 5% of equity and Rs. 30 Lakhs debt with a 15% interest rate for three years. Shark Peyush was not satisfied with this so he offered Rs. 50 Lakhs for 20% equity with 1% royalty on profit until Rs. 1 Crore is recouped.

Later, Peyush revises the offer to include Amit Jain in the offer. They both gave the same offer together that Peyush offered for the first time. However, the royalty shifts from 1% to 2%. Anuva accepted the deal for Rs. 50 lakhs for 5% equity and 2% royalty until Rs. 1 Crore is recouped from Shark Peyush Bansal, Co-founder and CEO of Lenskart, and Shark Amit Jain, CEO & CoFounder of CarDekho Group.
