The founders met from a dating app and worked together to provide mushroom-based health supplements and easy-to-grow mushrooms in the house. Prithvi Kini and Jashid Hameed are founders of Nevedo and belong to Bengaluru, India. They have an interesting story of starting together as an entrepreneur. Having an interest in biochemistry and food science, they began their research on Mushrooms and got some irresistible mushroom benefits. The company was incorporated in March 2021. It has been three years since the company running successfully. 

Nuvedo co-founder Prithvi Kini completed her schooling at National Public School with super medical. She took both biology and maths. Prithvi was good in academics. She further joined The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) to gain some experience in Human Resource Management and Employment Relations. Apart from that Prithvi is a graduate of Lady Shri Ram College For Women with a Bachelor of Arts in philosophy.

After her graduation, she got her first internship in journalism at Bennett Coleman and Co. Ltd. Gaining more interest in the work, she explored the other aspects of journalism with NDTV. Nuvedo has been an Associate for D.E. Shaw Research, where she worked full-time for the company. Slowly, she shifted to internships and jobs in the field of lab research and Fungi. While researching, she got to know more about fungi and mushrooms as well. 

Nuvedo co-founder Jashid Hameed completed his graduation from BITS (Birla Institute of Technology and Science), Pilani with a Bachelor of Engineering. Later, he joined the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Indore, completing his post-graduation in Management and business administration.

He handled the South Indian States Department for almost three years. After meeting Prithvi, he started working on Nuvedo with her.

Nuvedo offers their Nuvedo mushroom kit. The kit is cut from the top forming an X. The mushroom grows in just a few days becoming a fresh eatable mushroom. However, it is eatable after cooking only. Apart from that, they provide mushroom-based nutritional supplements which are used to provide strength and stamina to the body. It includes ergothioneine which is good for increasing energy levels in the body.
