Air India has reduced the free baggage allowance for domestic travel to 15 kgs for several traveling classes. However, the complete guide for all classes of Air India Domestic travel is as follows. These are the updated baggage weights applicable from 2 May 2024:
Economy Class: Comfort: 15 Kgs/33 lb, Comfort Plus: 15 Kgs/33 lb, Flex: 25 kgs/55lb
Premium Economy Class: Comfort Plus: 15 Kgs/33 lb, Flex: 25 Kgs/55.1 lb
Business Class: Comfort Plus: 25 Kgs/55.1 lb, Flex: 35 Kgs/77.1 lb
First Class: First: 40 Kgs/88 lb

There are two classes for traveling from India to Canada: Economy and Executive/First Class.
For Canada:
Thus, the economy class will allow two pieces of up to 23 Kg/51 lb each. While, for the Executive/First Class, there will be two pieces of up to 32 Kgs/71 lb each. The same criteria will apply to those traveling from Canada to India.
