Robin Gupta and his co-founder Prakher were interested in the chemicals and their compositions. After hearing a lot about things like ”chemicals are not good for our body” and “chemicals destroy us”, they start thinking about the ways through which the use of chemicals can be helpful. Robin and Prakher gave the name Conscious Chemist to the company by putting a conscious approach to the utilization of the chemicals. As per Robin’s LinkedIn account, Conscious Chemist makes biocompatible skin care products addressing skin concerns like hyperpigmentation, eczema, keratosis pilaris, acne, etc. Their products are a combination of science and nature.

Robin and Prakher reached higher goals and appeared in Shark Tank season 3. They asked for Rs. 60 lakhs for 2% of the equity. However, they were not able to get the deal from the sharks. They want the co-founders to focus more on expanding online business and creating a strong presence at marketplaces. They all loved the products.
