Season 4 of Shark Tank will feature Shark Ritesh, Aman Gupta, Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar along with Kunal Bahl. More entrepreneurs will come in to pitch their business in front of the Sharks this season. It will be exciting to learn from new-age businesses on the show. Kunal Bahl is an Indian entrepreneur known for building companies like Snapdeal and Titan Capital. Born and brought up in New Delhi, he completed his schooling at Delhi Public School RK Puram, New Delhi. He moved to the US for further studies. Kunal completed the Jerome Fisher M&T program at the University of Pennsylvania.

Along with studying marketing and operations strategy at the Wharton School, he completed his engineering from the School of Engineering and Applied Science. For post-graduation, he enrolled at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management where he studied marketing.

Kunal goes back to India after completing his studies and working with Microsoft for some time. He co-founded Snapdeal with Rohit Bahl. It started as a small e-commerce platform that also expanded its existence in the fields of clothing, electronics, and home goods. The company was able to reach the top 10 online marketplaces in India with its aggressive marketing and high customer satisfaction rate. Snapdeal focused on having a diverse range of products and at the same time built a strong logistics network.

Several attempts were made for the merger of Flipkart and Snapdeal. However, it failed for some reasons. After that, Flipkart started growing under Walmart. Snapdeal decided to create a new strategy which they named Snapdeal 2.0. They wanted to be different from other platforms. Thus, they decided to focus on value-conscious customers.
